The opposite happens too,
I guess it's the "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" part of beauty...

you were too fast, check it again, i edited the poll a bit (lol)

(and of course the opposite happens, but i'm not in such a good mood to ask that!)
:iconconatgion:
okay i got a bit less negative ;)
so

my favourite effect is when you stare at something and you realise that it's way more beautiful than you thought so far (mostly by realizing that it has more layers)

There you go!
Although it does scare me that you get used to ugly things and like them just because they become... familiar! :fear:

It's got nothing to do with fading beauty and we'll assume that what you've just experienced is sending you back to your very conditioned (and disgusting) human nature... Meaning flesh and bones on top of a bunch of raw senses occasioned by what happens to the aforementioned !!!
:iconjkd-kat:
faces, bodies, paintings, coloured walls.
it is because your perception changes or because you were just lured into the thought it was beautiful by a feeling of love in the first place. happens all the time, hurts all the time.
:iconconatgion:
 but not necessarily hurts, for example you might feel that you overcome that thing, and feel a sort of triumph over it
